When trying to build your
online internet home based business, two things that can be quite effective are the use of autoresponders and squeeze pages.
A squeeze page is a simple one page website that grabs the visitor's attention and captures their information such as their name, email address and phone number through an opt in form. For the squeeze page to be effective, it should be short, sweet and simple while either offering the visitor a sort of incentive to fill out their information or by creating curiosity or excitement where as they will want to fill out their information.
You can take a look at my squeeze page
HERE.
You will notice it includes a catchy headline, a list of business perks and a free ebook (this is the incentive). Now, a visitor will either enter their information in my opt in form because my squeeze page alone interested them (because they are looking for work from home) or because they are interested in my free ebook (which is also good because my free ebook shows them how to make money online) so they are still a targeted lead.
To get started making your free squeeze pages, you can

Now, for a squeeze page to be very effective, you should hook up an autoresponder to it. This way, not only will you get your lead's information when they fill out your opt in form
, but they will also begin to receive a set of emails that you have created which will give them information on your
online internet home based business. This way, if they don't join your team right away, they will still receive emails from you and might decide later on to join. It has been said that typically a person needs to see a "business opportunity" at least 7 times before they decide to join. This is why having an autoresponder is effective and important.
Now, you can get your autoresponder
HERE. It is free to sign up, however, in order to access the autoresponder part, you will need to upgrade to Premium status. Just do it, it's only $9.95 a month. ;-)
You can create as many emails (up to 999) as you want. It is advised that you create at least 7.
Once you have your autoresponder and squeeze page account...go ahead and follow the directions on how to set up your free squeeze page. It is very simple, but I will go over the basics here:
Step 1: Pick your template
Step 2: Pick your background
Step 3: Choose your free ebook
Step 4: Enter your headline text
Step 5: Enter your sales test
Step 6: Plug in your autoresponder HTML
Step 7: Enter your title and footer
Your Done!
Don't let step 6 scare you. Follow the steps below to set up your opt in form.
Step 1: Log into your "Grab a Lead" account
Step 2: Click on "New List" and fill out
Step 3: Copy the HTML code on next page
Step 4: Paste into box on step 6 of the squeeze generator template building where it says "autoresponder form HTML"
That's it!
So, now that you have created your free squeeze page and opt in form to grab your subscribers, it is time to set up your autoresponder messages.
In your "Grab a Lead" account, click on "New Campaign" and follow directions.
Okay, so now you have everything set up. Where do you find subscribers (or leads)?
Easy...
First of all, it is a good idea to redirect your squeeze page URL into something shorter. You can buy a cheap domain name at
GoDaddy or you can also use free services such as
Notlong ,
TinyUrl or
MooUrl. Doesn't really matter which you use, but keep in mind that having a professional domain name such as a GoDaddy .com or .net will look better. Using .info is good too and will only cost you a couple bucks. Choice is yours.
Now, that you have your smaller URL for your squeeze page, let's get on to where you get subscribers. Oh, I've covered this haven't I in some previous posts. LOL!
But...to make it short...
* Blogs
* Forum posting
* Blog commenting
* Social Network Sites
* Online Classifieds
* Article writing
Those are some ideas on how to get subscribers, but there are countless possibilities. That's it for now. Hope you found this post helpful.
